You may remember a gorgeous engagement session that happened this July in Keizer - a self-proclaimed "awkward" couple who turned out to be model material (if not, check it out here). Well, just last weekend these two love birds tied the knot, and I couldn't have been more excited.
Savannah and her girls got ready at an adorable Air BnB in Yamhill county. The girls loved divine from the moment we arrived, but we started out by photographing all of the details. After getting ready, Savannah had a first look with her dad, which was one of the most beautiful first looks ever. Nestled in the rolling hills of Yamhill county, the field behind the house made the perfect backdrop for such an intimate moment.
But that was just the beginning. Once the guys arrived after getting ready off-site, we did a traditional bride-groom first look. As their family and friends looked on, Ben laid eyes on a very emotional Savannah, and the moment made me tear up a little as well. Savannah was so overcome with emotion that I helped to sooth her tears as she took a few moments before letting Ben see her. We took a few couples portraits and got all of the bridal party photos done before heading out to the venue.
Kimberly Farms is a beautiful venue outside Dayton. The ceremony site looks out over their farm land. It was windy, chilly, and there was a threat of rain, but it never actually poured as the sky suggested it would. The wind made for some truly amazing photos and the clouds parted just in time to reveal a gorgeous sunset. See, Savannah had a dream of amazing sun-kissed wedding pictures and was disappointed when the clouds covered their venue. But just as the clouds parted, our eyes met, and we raced out to capture some beautiful last-minute pictures.
Congrats again Savannah and Ben! I hope Hawaii was as amazing as your beautiful wedding day.
